All of the award season buzz has been for Kate Winslet who did a phenominal job, but the real star of this film was Leonardo DiCaprio. You felt every emotion he did- hope, disappointment, frustration, confusion, love, pain. This is one of those movies that will sit with you for a long time and has already become one of my favorites. Sam Mendes cinematography is excellent as are the costumes and set designs. The music, the original score, was suitable unsettling and perfectly balanced to every scene. A must see.
