Based on the comedic memoir by Danny Wallace, this film stars Jim Carrey as Carl, a man who, as an antidote to unhappiness, resolves to say “yes” to everything that comes his way for a whole year. Initially, Carl’s new practice proves successful in lifting his spirits, but soon he is confronted with unexpected and seemingly unbeatable challenges stemming from his unique self-imposed regime. Zooey Deschanel co-stars as Renee, Carl’s love interest.

This was a really funny movie. Not really a chick flick, but really reminds me of the vintage Jim Carrey movies he used to make. Hilarious parts of it, and would be kid friendly except for one scene with an x rated activity involved. Otherwise, hilarious first date movie. I loved it.

“Yes Man” is a funny and heartwarming movie. Jim Carrey is as amusing in this story as he is in many of his other films, but he brings a good deal of humanity to his role as well. “Yes Man” reminds me a little bit of Adam Sandler’s “Click”, in that it has some truly funny scenes paired with an overall message about living life. I would definitely recommend this movie, especially if you are already a Jim Carrey fan.

“Yes man” is a classic Jim Carry comedy you can love it find it dull. Carl (Jim Carrey) is an average bank employee who has no life. He spends all his free time watching movies at home. You can easily identify yourself in him. Than he embraces a new “Yes” way of life and his life changes and becomes meaningful. The movie is full of Jim’s excellent face contortions. I found it a nice entertaining movie to watch and it made me think of all the opportunities we miss in life.
