This is one action packed flick with the baddest dude on the planet. The Dad, Liam Neeson, is an ex-preventer, as he calls it. He prevented bad things from happening for the US governement. He learned some incredible skills along the way and uses them to locate and save his daughter. Neeson is fantastic as the paranoid Dad that turns out to be one mean character. He literally runs through everyone and everything to get to his daughter. There’s a scene where a bad guys gets hit by a bus that’s incredible.
    This is one great movie.

Awesome movie! Nonstop action from beginning to end that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Liam Neeson kicks serious ass in this movie and you will want him to be your dad by the end of it. Great movie for both males and females that captivates you for the entire length.

“Taken” is basically a mediocre version of the Jason Bourne movies. I personally loved the Bourne movies and anything related to international espionage. However, “Taken” simply does not have the same level of intensity as the previously mentioned trilogy. Liam Neeson plays a retired CIA agent who must travel to Europe to save his daughter from sex slave traders. While this was an interesting concept to begin with, it began to bore me and become unrealistic towards the end. The fight scenes were really lame and I even heard people in the theatre laughing at them. I still recommend that you watch this move, however, expect to be drawn into it at the beginning, and then slowly lose interest by the end.

This movie was great. I will admit, I do probably have a bias as I really like Liam Neeson as an actor, but regardless, I will definitely be buying this movie when it comes out on Blu-Ray. It had a good story line, and it had a lot of action. It was never too slow at any point in time, and overall I would probably give it an 8.5 out of 10. I would recommend seeing this movie if you like action, you will not be disappointed.

To say this movie was great is an understatement-Liam Neeson is a one man killing machine that would probably make Rambo cry for his mommy. There is nothing but guns blazing, necks breaking, limbs snapping and bad guys dying horrible nasty deaths. They set this movie up by picking the most reprehensible type of villain there is and then they go out of their way to annoy Liam. Big mistake, bad day to be a bad guy!! The movie is action beging to end, they have a strong hero character that almost anybody can identify with, and by the end of the movie your climbing the walls waiting to see what happens next. A very entertaining movie indeed, there is absolutely no excuse good enough for missing this movie-go see it right NOW!!
