After just one blind date, eccentric crossword puzzle creator Mary (Sandra Bullock) falls madly in love with CNN cameraman Steve (Bradley Cooper). Determined to convince Steve they’re meant to be together, Mary follows him around the country as he covers breaking news stories. Enjoying Mary’s outrageous antics, Steve’s reporting partner, Hartman (Thomas Haden Church), encourages her to continue her quest for love.
